who we are

Red Carpet Creative has been running for over 10 years since inception in 2009.

We specialize in food, wine and luxury hospitality brand marketing.

In 2019 Red Carpet Creative was awarded Top Food & Beverage PR Agency by Cape Town Experiences.

Collectively we have over 35 years market experience within our team.

Our team comprises a Managing Director and campaign conceptualizer; an Events and Production Manager; A PR Account Manager; two copywriters; two graphic designers.

Our portfolio boasts 20 Restaurant, 17 Beverage, 12 Hospitality, 14 Luxury Lifestyle brands to date with client retainers running for an average of 2.5+ years

JADE ALLEN

MANAGING DIRECTOR AT RED CARPET CREATIVE

SALES & MARKETING DIRECTOR AT TRAVEL AFRICA NETWORK

Shaking up the media landscape, Jade leans towards an off-centre approach to the travel and hospitality sector, with new opportunity for global marketing concept shifts.

Gearing back during lockdown allowed her time to defrag, restructure and relaunch an all-new 360-degree publicity plan for the market segment to completely reshape strategies. Geared towards local and international travel audiences her business model aims to reboot brands with a stronger bounce-back and global footprint.

Jade’s 21 years’ experience in the production industry, and 15 years in marketing and PR, have lent to an intrinsic knowledge of each. The merger of these respective industries gives rise to a new spectrum of possibilities.

The migration of magazine editorial content and digital commerce from print and online to international broadcast offers brands a targeted, fast-reaching, and powerful platform for immediate conversions. Using on-screen QR code integration - brands can now drive viewer bookings, purchases, and inquiries in real-time.

Having associated with a team of film and production specialists, and global broadcast partner, the offering for establishments and enterprises is comprehensive, streamlined, and feasible. Global tourism marketing is now accessible to brands across the board.

Jade’s long-standing relationships have also given scope to a host of media partnerships with leading travel, food and lifestyle magazine editors, writers, influencers, bloggers, photojournalists and content producers from SA, Africa and abroad.

All talk-worthy, enticing client content can be propagated across the continent via our plethora of media and social network channels.

Celebrated film and TV presenters have joined us in pioneering yet another platform plugin with broadcast to social media content streaming via IGTV (Instagram TV). Calls-to-action for brand ROI is further driven by social network affiliate programmes and promotions.

Jade’s goals are to see the rise of sustainable tourism; substantial contributions toward wildlife conservation and humanitarian programmes; and economic stabilization across Africa.

MELISSA CROUS

PR & OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Melissa is an accomplished and dedicated public relations professional with vast media experience in corporate, consumer and brand communications. She has a thorough understanding of how to connect and engage a brand with the desired target market, which enables her to propose strategies that truly starts and drives noticeable conversations, sold-out launches and noteworthy interviews. 

She is driven by a passion for digital communication, storytelling and brands. Throughout her career she has led a number of successful communication and social media campaigns for both local and international brands; helping them reach and engage their targeted audience in creative ways.  This included the development of strategic communication plans, garnered extensive media coverage, produced marketing materials, coordinated special events, and a host of other communications activities. 

Ever since her first day at Red Carpet Creative she has been trusted with responsibility; from delivery to client interaction - this has been key in her personal and professional development. She advanced quickly within the agency and this most recently led to a partnership with Jade Allen (Managing Director),  to expand Red Carpet Creative’s offering and assist in reinventing the local tourism industry with a new and innovative approach to digital marketing.

Her background in agency & higher education brings a well-rounded perspective to her work with Red Carpet Creative clients. In addition to her expertise in PR strategies, Melissa also brings her Graphic Design, Social Media, Website Development, Market Research and Event planning skills to the table.
